Devan Haddad

Devan (she/her) is a queer, cis-gender white woman. She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles and currently lives in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. She is an LPCC trainee in her second year of a MA in Counselor Education online program at Adams State University. She’s excited to be part of the QLS team and is supervised by Ariel Mellinger.

She worked as a youth sexual violence prevention educator and crisis intervention services manager for several years, gaining an understanding of trauma and sexual violence. She is always struck by the human ability to heal and grow from trauma when offered support, care and love. She has a long history of social justice work and activism in intersectional feminism, human rights and education, which heavily guides her therapeutic work. Her undergraduate degree is in Global Studies with a concentration in International Development & Humanitarian Action from Cal State, Monterey Bay.

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her goofy Pitbull, Gouda, walking, hiking and snuggling. She also loves cooking, camping and soaking up the sun. She is delighted to be part of the QLS team and continue to support her queer community!

Please note that Devan is currently seeing clients on Zoom only.
