Henry Lamb, AMFT

 

Henry Lamb (he/him) is a post-graduate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). He received his master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Golden Gate University. He did a traineeship as an onsite school counselor at the University of San Francisco (USF), Center for Family Development. He worked with children at De Marillac Academy, mid-school, in the Tenderloin neighborhood.

His therapeutic approach is client-centered and with a trauma-informed lens. He firmly believes in meeting clients wherever they are and without prejudice.

Henry’s therapeutic orientation, although varied, centers on strength-based, solution-focused, and mindfulness practices. His training includes Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy for Couples (AEDPfC), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
