On Saturday, May 30, Amador Obscura transformed the historic Amador Club into a decadent, multi-level world of mystery, performance, and queer theatrical spectacle. Guests began the evening downstairs in the Bank Club before ascending into the private rooms of the Amador Club, where nearly two dozen performers roved through the space and staged immersive vignettes inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins.
Directed by Michael Phillis and created in collaboration with Peaches Christ Productions, the evening blurred the line between audience and performance through hidden encounters, lavishly staged moments, and a fever-dream atmosphere that felt part fundraiser, part secret-society ritual, and part queer nightlife fantasy. It was an unforgettable one-night-only celebration of queer artistry, community, and theatrical imagination in support of Queer LifeSpace.
