Amador Obscura

Event Overview

Get ready to kick-off Pride Month with Amador Obscura, a one-night-only immersive theatrical event supporting nonprofit counseling agency Queer LifeSpace, in collaboration with Peaches Christ Productions.

Directed by Michael Phillis, this provocative adaptation of Thighs Wide Shut features over 20 actors and drag performers across three expansive, immersive floors.

Prepare to be initiated into the secret rituals of an obscure San Francisco society as the historic, members-only Amador Club unlocks its doors for a rare night of political satire and queer performance.

Navigate a dozen live vignettes exploring the Seven Deadly Sins as both observer and participant in this fully staged, multi-floor production.

About the Immersive Experience

For the first time in a century, the veil between worlds is thin, and the doors to this exclusive sanctuary have been opened for your arrival.

Your journey takes place across three stunning floors, beginning in the Bank Bar, where you will navigate a sea of masked guests and cryptic characters—from a desperate seeker to a cynical reporter—as the mysterious "Faithful" prepare to lead you into the hidden halls of the society.

As you ascend through the three immersive floors, you will explore a "choose your own adventure" landscape dedicated to the Seven Deadly Sins.

From the high-stakes games of Greed and the erotic provocations of Lust and Wrath to the redacted secrets of Sloth and the fortunes of Envy, you are invited to be both observer and participant in a series of provocative live performance vignettes featuring 20+ performers.

The evening culminates in a final ritual of Absolution, a grand, stylized bacchanal with international sensation Peaches Christ, where the ultimate secrets of the Amador are revealed.

You may even be invited to join the society yourself—if you are willing to pay the price...
