Michael Bare (he/him/any)

Coming from a career in public health and social justice, Michael (he/him/any) approaches therapy within a structural, social justice, and interpersonal lens.

Particularly compelled by emotionally focused, IFS and psychodynamic theories, Michael intends to help individuals and those in relationships work through any beliefs, cognitions, memories, patterns, or life transitions with which they are grappling. Some notable areas of focus include: developmental trauma, communication issues, life transitions, grief, religious trauma, spiritual crisis/emergence, anxiety, family estrangement, and creative block and aligned issues. Michael likes to bring humor and creativity to his sessions.

Outside of psychotherapy, Michael rides bikes, is an avid cinephile, throws down in the kitchen, is a trained traditional astrologer, works on creative projects and hangs out with his pack of small dogs.
